Getting Started
What is ForgeCoach?+
ForgeCoach is a platform where you take scenario-based AI assessments and earn verified credentials that prove applied skill — not just knowledge.
How do challenges work?+
Each challenge presents you with realistic workplace scenarios grounded in your professional domain — a logistics professional gets supply chain scenarios, a healthcare professional gets clinical scenarios, an engineer gets technical scenarios. You answer multiple-choice questions that test applied judgment, not memorization. Every question is generated fresh by AI for each attempt. Pass the challenge and earn a verified credential with a personalized assessment of your strengths and growth areas.
What is the Forge Score?+
Your Forge Score is a composite score out of 100 based on three factors: Alignment (how in-demand your verified skills are right now), Velocity (how many credentials you've earned recently), and Depth (your average score across all challenges). It's a single number that shows where you stand in the skill market.
Credentials
What is a ForgeCoach credential?+
A credential is a publicly verifiable record of your performance on a scenario-based AI assessment. Each credential shows the skill, rank (Practitioner / Master / Fellow), your score, the passing bar, and the cohort you earned it in. Credentials have a unique URL anyone can visit to verify your performance in seconds — no login required.
Are ForgeCoach credentials accredited?+
No. ForgeCoach credentials reflect performance on AI-generated scenario assessments only. They are not issued by an accredited certification body, professional licensing authority, or educational institution. They are not validated as employment screening tools. They demonstrate applied knowledge — not formal certification.
How do I add a credential to LinkedIn?+
From your credential page, click 'Add to LinkedIn Profile.' This opens LinkedIn's certification flow with your credential pre-filled, and ForgeCoach appears as the issuing organization. The credential appears in the Licenses & Certifications section of your profile.
Can anyone verify my credentials?+
Yes. Every credential has a unique public URL (forgecoach.ai/credentials/[id]) that anyone can visit to verify it's real, see your score, and confirm the skill and level. No login required to verify.
How long are credentials valid?+
ForgeCoach credentials are valid for 18 months from the date you earned them. After that, they expire — they're hidden from the employer talent search and show as expired on your public profile. To renew, simply retake the challenge. This keeps the network signal-clean: every credential visible to employers reflects demonstrated skill within the last 18 months.
Can employers search for verified professionals?+
Yes. Employers can search for verified professionals and verify credentials. This feature is coming soon.
What makes ForgeCoach credentials different?+
ForgeCoach is the only credential that scores both your technical judgment and how clearly you communicate it. Every written response is evaluated on clarity, structure, persuasiveness, and audience fit — not just whether you got the right answer. The result is a credential that tells employers not just what you know, but how you think.
The Assessments
How are questions generated?+
Every question is generated by AI (Claude by Anthropic) at the time of your attempt, using a realistic fictional company scenario as context. This means no two attempts are identical — it tests genuine understanding, not test-prep.
What does it mean to pass?+
Each challenge has a pass threshold that depends on the skill and rank: Practitioner requires 78%, Master 82%, Fellow 90%. Questions are scenario-based and test applied judgment — comparable in rigor to professional certification exams. You must hit the threshold within the session time limit (20 minutes for Practitioner, 30 for Master, 45–50 for Fellow).
Can I retake a challenge?+
Yes. You can retake any challenge. Since questions are AI-generated fresh each time, retakes test real comprehension. Only passed attempts result in credentials — your best performance is what counts.
The Skills Index
What is the ForgeCoach Index?+
The ForgeCoach Index tracks the market trajectory of professional skills — showing which are rising fast, stable, declining, or at risk of automation. It's designed to help you see where to invest your learning time.
How are skill trends determined?+
Trend data is based on our analysis of job market signals, AI capability progression, and professional demand across industries. Skills are categorized as Rising Fast, Rising, Stable, Declining, or At Risk.
Why are some skills marked 'At Risk'?+
Skills marked At Risk are being rapidly automated or commoditized by AI tools. We include them because knowing which skills are losing value is just as important as knowing which are gaining it.
The Horizon
What is The Horizon?+
The Horizon is ForgeCoach's quarterly intelligence report identifying professional skills the market hasn't priced in yet — but will. Each quarter, our AI analyst reviews research papers, venture funding patterns, and where senior talent is quietly moving to surface five skills with high probability of commanding economic premium in the next 3–7 years.
Who can see The Horizon report?+
The Horizon is free for all ForgeCoach members. Skill names are visible as a preview to anyone, but the full report — including analyst insights, early signals, confidence scores, and specific action steps — requires a free account.
How often is The Horizon updated?+
Quarterly. Each report reflects the current signal landscape with fresh predictions. You can always access the latest report from the navigation bar.
Forge Academy
What is Forge Academy?+
Forge Academy is structured learning for every skill in the ForgeCoach Index. Each course is AI-generated, scenario-based, and personalized to your professional role — so your credential reflects real understanding, not just test familiarity. Curriculum adapts as the market moves.
How are Academy lessons different from Challenges?+
Academy is learning mode — guided lessons with lower stakes designed to build your understanding before you go for a credential. Challenges are assessment mode — rigorous, timed, pass/fail, with a verifiable credential on the line. Most people use Academy to prepare, then take the Challenge when they're ready.
Do I need to complete Academy before taking a Challenge?+
No. If you already have the skill, go straight to the Challenge. Academy is for building skills you don't yet have or want to strengthen before being assessed.
Pricing & Beta
Is the individual product really free?+
Yes. The core ForgeCoach product — skill assessments, verified credentials, the Forge Score, Academy, and the Horizon report — is completely free during beta. Our one paid product is the Workforce AI Risk Audit ($99), which serves organizations rather than individuals. See the Workforce AI Risk Audit section below for details.
What does beta mean?+
We're still actively building ForgeCoach. Features may change, and you might encounter rough edges. In exchange for your patience, you get free access and direct input on the roadmap. Beta users will be grandfathered into favorable pricing if we introduce paid individual tiers later.
Will my data be safe?+
Yes. Your data is encrypted, stored securely with Supabase, never sold, and you can delete your account at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Workforce AI Risk Audit
What is the Workforce AI Risk Audit?+
A one-time, AI-generated report ($99) that analyzes an organization's exposure to AI automation across roles, identifies prioritized skill gaps, and delivers a 12-month upskilling roadmap. Built for HR leaders, executives, and consultants who need a fast, board-ready view of workforce AI risk. Delivered as a PDF within ~5 minutes of purchase.
How is this different from the free ForgeCoach product?+
The free product is for individuals earning verified skill credentials. The Workforce AI Risk Audit is for organizations analyzing multiple roles at once. Different buyer, different deliverable, different price. Many audit customers also use the free credentialing product internally.
What's in the report?+
Executive summary with an overall exposure score, AI risk broken down by role and skill, prioritized skill gaps, a 12-month upskilling roadmap, and a methodology appendix. See a full sample at /sample-report.
What's the refund policy?+
7-day money-back guarantee. If the report doesn't meet your expectations, reply to your confirmation email within 7 days for a full refund. See Terms of Service Section 5A for the full policy.
Is my company data secure?+
Yes. Data submitted for the audit is used only to generate your report. It's stored securely, never sold, and never used to train third-party AI models. You can request deletion at any time.
