This isn't about knowing how to train models — it's about knowing enough to have a productive conversation with ML engineers about what's possible, evaluate claims made by vendors, and avoid building roadmaps around capabilities that don't exist.

The premium in AI PM isn't for people who can manage engineers building AI features. That's just PM.
