Every question is AI-generated, fresh per attempt
Questions are generated by Claude at the moment each challenge starts — scenario-based, contextual, and unique. There is no question bank to memorize. No one can screenshot and share answers because the next person gets different questions testing the same judgment.
Fictional company seeds prevent screenshot sharing
Each challenge is anchored to a unique fictional company — a different name, industry, and situation every time. Screenshots showing the correct answer are useless to someone else because their challenge will use a completely different company and scenario.
Time limits and minimum response times
Challenges enforce strict time limits and flag responses that are suspiciously fast. Minimum time-per-question thresholds are enforced — the system rejects answers submitted in under 8 seconds. Speed anomalies across a full attempt trigger a suspicious flag on the credential.
Cooldown periods on failure
Failed attempts trigger mandatory cooldown periods that escalate with repeat failures — up to 3× the original cooldown. This prevents brute-force passing through repeated attempts and ensures each credential represents genuine proficiency.
Percentile ranking among all earners
Each credential shows how the candidate scored relative to everyone else who has earned that credential. A score of 87% that puts someone in the top 15% is instantly meaningful for comparison — no conversion tables needed.
Hard 18-month expiry — credentials lapse
ForgeCoach credentials are valid for 18 months from the date earned. After that, they expire — automatically hidden from talent search and marked expired on the practitioner's profile. There's no "stale but technically valid" state. You're always seeing verified current skill.

Validity status
Valid (green) = verified within 18 months. Expiring Soon (amber) = within 30 days of lapsing. Expired (red) = credential has lapsed and is no longer shown in talent search. Hard expiry means no grey area — you always know if the skill is current.
